This menu picture book has been created to assist people within the Care sector with communication challenges.
 
The menu book has been devised in consultation with the Care Sector.
 
The pictures of different dishes have been created with great care to maximise the choice for residents.
 
The book is a useful tool, which will help bridge the gap between carer and resident.  It is an efficient and gracious way of expressing menu choices.
 
The book is divided into six sections:
Drinks Breakfast Lunch, Vegetarian High tea deserts
Colour coded for ease of use.
 
Each section contains pictures of everyday meals, drinks and snacks consumed in the Care Sector.
 
By pointing at the dishes the menu choices are crystal clear, giving people real choice and control over their menu selection.
 
At the back of the book are three white boards to personalise messages and menus.
 
The book is laminated so is wipable for hygeine purposes.
